What this site is made of

Who contributed each piece: typefaces, images, the 3D heart and the technology that holds it all up.

Credits and licences

Typefaces

  • Newsreader, by Production Type. SIL Open Font License 1.1. Used for headlines, quotes and poetry.
  • Figtree, by Erik Kennedy. SIL Open Font License 1.1. Used for the interface, long-form text and forms.

Both are served from this same domain: there are no requests to third-party servers to load the typography.

The 3D heart

The piece «This is how a heart is rebuilt» is drawn in real time in the browser.

The anatomical model is the heart wall (FMA 7274) from BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science, licensed CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan. We adapted it for the web: decimated, compressed and given the materials, light and animation of this site. The adapted version is shared under the same licence.

Photographs

Stock photography from Pexels (Pexels licence: free to use, attribution not required; we credit it anyway). Photographers: Alina Degli · Alina Vilchenko · Arina Krasnikova · Asia i Seweryn · Bruna Fossile · Charlotte May · Elias Tigiser · Esra Nur Kalay · Frank Cone · George Milton · Ksyusha Duplenko · Mark Weisgerber · Mohamed B. · Phát Võ Hồ Tấn · Ray Bilcliff · Reel Focus Productions · Tara Winstead · Tima Miroshnichenko · Ylanite Koppens · Zetong Li.

They are cropped and colour-graded so they share the same light as the rest of the site; the detail of each one lives in the internal asset catalogue. No person appearing in them is Tatiana Sedano, nor is presented as her.

Pending: the real portraits of Tatiana Sedano will be credited here with the name of whoever took them, once the photography folder arrives. No image of Tatiana on this site is generated by artificial intelligence.

The images accompanying some texts come from the previous sites (tatianasedano.com and lasvueltasdelavida.com) and will be replaced as we go.
